Opry Mills
Southeast side of Opry Mills - Nashville, Tennessee.Mrs. Nash likes her shopping and Opry Mills has enough to run even her stitching loose. Nearly every store her heart desires is right here under this one roof. We keep telling her when she visits, there's more than a few that sell hosiery (you might say Mrs. Nash needs some new stockings), but she always passes them by going straight to the glamour photography shop.
With its great sports oriented shops featuring bass boats and hunting gear, music venues, and IMAX movie theater, the enomous, but conveniently accessible mall offers a shopping experience even Mr. Nash can enjoy. His favorite places include a store with a life-size grunting gorilla and another with a fish tank big enough for him to toss a line. He also likes the NASCAR simulator – the one place where he can drive fast and not have to listen to Mrs. Nash tell him to slow down.
Opry Mills is known, tongue-in-cheek to many locals, as "Shopryland," since it was built on the grounds of a former theme park called Opryland. While the roller coasters are gone the shopping is terrific and offers enough to make anyone's head spin!
