Wave Pools and Water Parks

OK, so Nashville isn't exactly beach front property - but we've got the next best thing - Nashville Wave Country, a city park that feels more like a resort.

Tall water slides, a giant wave pool (rental tubes available), separate pool for the little ones and a great southern exposure layout for sunbathers, make this the perfect place to chill out on a hot day.

For the budget minded, the admission price can't be beat, and if someone in the group is too cool for the pool, or too proud of their paunch, a skate park and a golf course are right next door.

Prefer a sandy beach and a sunset over a "cement pond"? Maybe a little jet-ski action? Then check out Nashville Shores, a terrific commercial water-park located on the north-east shoreline of beautiful Percy Priest Lake.
