Dining in Nashville
Mrs. Nash's Favorite Way-Out Restaurants
Loveless Cafe' - This recently revonvated southern-style, home-cooking restaurant is located on Highway 100 in the village of Pasquo, just west of Nashville, at the northern terminus of the Natchez Trace Parkway. The restaurant is famous for its bisquits and red eye gravy, ham, fried chicken and all other sorts of southern fare. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available. Bring along an autographed picture if you're famous like Mrs. Nash and maybe they'll hang it up in the front room next to Garth, et al who've dined here at one time or another.

A sunset view off the deck at Cherokee Landing Steak House
Cherokee Landing Steak House - Mrs. Nash's fourth husband favored this establishment. She thought it was because of the plate load of juicy steaks you can get. Turned out that wasn't the only reason. She come to find out, he liked that he could get a fine meal and get a seemingly innocent peep into the back yard of his favorite red headed country music star, Reba McEntire (the restaurant is located just south of Gallatin, TN off Highway 109) directly across a small inlet of Old Hickory Lake from Reba's house, all without getting into any trouble at all - well least until, Mrs. Nash figured it out. He's got a fork gouge in his left hand these days, right above where his wedding band used to go. Good food, terrific view, fantastic sunsets. Plan to wait if you come at prime dinner hour. If you've got a boat, you can tie up right outside, on the dock.

Mrs. Nash might choose to use your comments if she thinks highly of your culinary critique and you give her the ok to use your words, free of charge of course (You didn't really think she was going to pay you - did you?)
